First, match casters with actual working conditions. Confirm load limit, ground flatness and environment; rubber wheels suit uneven floors, while polyurethane casters fit smooth indoor ground. Never overload casters or use them in acid, alkali, oil and extreme high/low-temperature environments such as cold storage, which will cause material aging and corrosion damage.
Standard operation is essential. Do not drag equipment with brakes locked, strike brake pads forcibly or tow casters for long periods. Avoid driving over bumpy ground and sloped parking to prevent long-term lateral pressure and impact wear.
Besides usage, bracket surface treatment determines durability. Powder coating, electrophoresis and galvanizing effectively improve rust resistance. Electrophoresis fits humid corrosive workshops, galvanization is cost-effective for general industrial scenarios, and plastic spraying works well both indoors and outdoors.
